Developing Teams
SDC has built up expertise over a number of years in team development. We can be helpful in a number of ways with multi-disciplinary teams and networks who want to deliver a shared agenda.
Over the years we have designed and facilitated one-day reviews for teams, as well as more in-depth programmes of development for new teams or teams who want to enhance how they work together. SDC has worked sensitively and productively with multi-disciplinary teams where relationships have become strained or where communication has broken down, enabling change to happen and work to become more effective.
We draw on the latest evidence to support our work and use highly trained and experienced facilitators.
Partnership Working
SDC currently operates in several key strategic partnerships projects e.g. The Scottish Government Children and Adolescent Mental Health Services Reference Group and the Living Better project. |
SDC has also recently worked with Workforce Plus http://www.scotland.gov.uk/Topics/Business-Industry/Employability to develop partnership working between health, social care, employability and skills and training agencies, at national level and in eight Local Authority Workforce Plus partnerships. Initiatives included:
- Developing a self-assessment framework to assess what services are available currently, with a view to measuring future changes
- Extending action planning and strengthening partnerships to further integrate health, social services, voluntary sector, specialist employability services; and regeneration and mainstream employability agencies
- Building relationships with employers
- Supporting an employment and mental health network
- Developing and sharing good practice.
