July 2007, Julia White and John Jackson

Developed by a multi-agency action group, the Strategy for Children and Young People’s Mental Health in the Western Isles, commissioned the SDC to assist in drafting a strategy on young people’s mental health. This Strategy sets out the overall direction for the Children and Young People’s Health Services in the Western Isles over the next 10 years and identifies key priorities and targets that need to be met during the lifetime of the Strategy. This document explores relevant policy including the Framework in order to suggest a model of care.
