Report of a consultation with young people in the Western Isles This report reviews the consultation with young people at the Nicholson Institute, Stornoway and explores the information gathered from the young people’s questionnaire. The results show that good friendships and good family relationships feature highly in young people’s views on what makes them happy. The report also includes young people’s suggestions on supporting others, what helps mental wellbeing and concerns about the stigma surrounding mental health.

Evaluation of Edinburgh Connect

Edinburgh Connect is a mental health service for looked after and accommodated children which aims to promote and enhance the mental health of this group. SDC was commissioned to undertake an independent evaluation of the team, the report of which has now been published.
