New Publication: Edinburgh Connect Evaluation
Edinburgh Connect is a mental health service for looked after and accommodated children which aims to promote and enhance the mental health of this group. The service seeks to achieve this by:
- Supporting residential care workers and foster carers to meet the mental health needs of looked after and accommodated children and young people
- Undertaking direct work with children and young people who are looked after and accommodated
- Contributing to strategic and operational development of services to enhance LAAC mental health.
In mid 2003 SDC was commissioned through the Changing Children’s Services Fund to undertake a 36 month evaluation of Edinburgh Connect. This evaluation has now ended and a final report published and distributed. A copy of the Executive Summary (pdf) is available to download from this website.
